do you want to be terrified

WHAT IS THIS POST FOR?
Horror stories. More specifically: elaborate, environment-interactive, full sensory experience horror stories. Think of it as being told a story about a terrifying abandoned shack in the woods surrounded by dead things that are less dead than they should be and want to eat you, except you're actually in a pseudo-abandoned shitty room and there are sounds that might very well be dead things scratching and moaning and trying to get in.

And there is a narrator, who doesn't want to make you feel better. In fact, the whole point is to make you scream like a child.

WHAT'S THE POINT THOUGH?
Yotsuya really likes horror stories. That's it. He wants to make people scream and tell a good story at the same time. Campfire tales are for beginners; we're big kids around here.

WOW I DON'T WANT YOU TO SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF ME FOR NO REASON!
That's why this is a plotting post.

Also, an actual reason helps.

WHAT KIND OF REASONS ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?
Well, it just works better if you have some unstable emotions. Negative ones. About anything, really--maybe you feel terrible about the things you've been doing to people in Joywick; maybe you have an easily exploitable fear; maybe you're just a bad person who deserves the piss scared out of you; maybe you touched Yotsuya's stuff. Stories work better when there's inspiration, you know? Yotsuya can tell a scary story about a dead girl in a school basement trying to hunt down her killers, but it's much more exciting when there's a personalized-to-the-audience element.

You are the audience if it were unclear. "A grain of truth" is a good rule of thumb; base it on something. 'I want to be scared' doesn't help anyone involved. :'''(

HOW ELABORATE ARE WE TALKING? A FULL, LONG PLOT OR WHAT?
Whatever you want it's your call!!! Yotsuya can spread uncomfortable/vague rumors about X thing for a while to up the ante or, you know, just get to it.

WELL MY CHARACTER IS REALLY HARD TO SCARE SO IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK :)
Okay then don't try to plot here. These things are supposed to be elaborate and involved and take a decent amount of plotting/possibly more than one thread, and to be honest I don't want to go through a Horror Story Plot to get "oh, that was cute, you tried :)" at the end. That wouldn't be fun for me, I'm sorry. Also, he is incredibly good at this to the point where his typical audience hallucinates things from the stories! So, if you don't want to be scared, plot something else with me. You can one-up him on a smaller scale that isn't meant to be super involved.

WHAT WOULD THE POINT EXCHANGE HERE BE?
I don't know, it depends on what you want to do.

I WANT TO DO A MURDER/INJURY/PHYSICAL TRAUMA PLOT.
Yotsuya doesn't get involved in the action, so that would be a no. He has a very strict policy on Only Being the Narrator--you can involve more than one person, sure! But Yotsuya isn't going to kill anyone or really touch them at all.

THIS WAS TRAUMATIZING I WANT REVENGE.
Okay, sure.
